BTS Tourisme
The BTS Tourisme trains students to welcome and advise travellers, sell travel services, design tourism products and promote a destination. It combines managing the relationship with tourist customers, designing a tourism offer and handling tourist information. Two foreign languages are an integral part of the course.

Curriculum
The national syllabus is built around three blocks of vocational skills:
- Managing the relationship with tourist customers : welcoming, advising, selling services, following up and building loyalty, in French and in a foreign language.
- Designing a tourism offer : creating products, assembling packages, promoting a destination and its area.
- Managing tourist information : researching, selecting and circulating information, monitoring and using the digital tools of the tourism industry.
Further subjects complete the course: general studies and expression, two modern foreign languages, tourism and territory, and the organisational and legal framework of tourism activities.

Further studies
Vocational bachelor's degree in tourism and hospitality, bachelor, university degree in applied foreign languages or management, or a specialised school.
Admission
Open to holders of the French baccalauréat or an equivalent qualification. Two foreign languages are required by the national syllabus. As the course is taken on a work-study basis, enrolment becomes effective once a contract is signed with a host company; the school sets out how to apply on its official website.
